It's Okay to Be Different Month


Yes, January is It's OK to be Different Month! And, Yes IT IS OK (and even fantastic) to be Different Month! This is a great opportunity to not just tolerate but celebrate our differences. If we were all the same the world would be boring. Poetry is the opportunity to speak your truth and embrace all of yours and others differences. What makes us great is the uniqueness that we each bring.

 Here are '20 Young Writers Of Color Share Their Favorite Poems' to celebrate the beauty of the diversity of thought and experience that comes from our differences.
